Sicilian Filet
Ingredients:
8 oz – choice beef filet steaks
2 tbsp seasoning mix
As needed – flour
As needed – avocado oil
1 oz – lemon
Directions:
- Heat deep-sided heavy-duty savor pot with oil to 350◦.
- Season filets well then dredge in flour. Shake off excess flour.
- Place into oil and fry to desired doneness:
- 7 minutes for rare
- 8 minutes for medium-rare
- 9 minutes for medium
- 10 minutes for medium-well
- 12 minutes for well done.
- Top steaks with fresh lemon and garlic butter, Let steak rest for 10 minutes before serving.
