Sicilian Filet

Ingredients:

8 oz – choice beef filet steaks

2 tbsp seasoning mix

As needed – flour

As needed – avocado oil

1 oz – lemon

Directions:

  1. Heat deep-sided heavy-duty savor pot with oil to 350◦.
  2. Season filets well then dredge in flour. Shake off excess flour.
  3. Place into oil and fry to desired doneness:
    1. 7 minutes for rare
    2. 8 minutes for medium-rare
    3. 9 minutes for medium
    4. 10 minutes for medium-well
    5. 12 minutes for well done.
  4. Top steaks with fresh lemon and garlic butter, Let steak rest for 10 minutes before serving.
